Help Us Fight For American Jobs

Current U.S. trade policy has led to the loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs and the weakening of the American middle class. Time and again, Congress and the Executive Branch have sold out America’s future to the interests of multinational corporations. CAFTA was passed in the middle of the night through shady, backroom deals. Now, powerful interests are lobbying for the Doha Round of the WTO and an FTAA.

USBIC is working every day to thwart this disastrous agenda. But we can no longer do it alone. Many of the family-owned manufacturing businesses that have supported us, sad to say, have succumbed to the unfair trade practices of China, Japan, Korea, and the various European Union countries.

If you’re a concerned citizen and a patriot, we’re asking you to help us. We realize that your budget is tight. We know from your emails that many of you have been downsized or outsourced. Probably no organization in Washington is more aware of just how hard it can be to make ends meet. But we’re hoping that you can donate $10 or $50 or $100 to help us continue the fight.

We need your help to take the battle to the next level, when the new batch of free trade deals come before the Congress. Please make a donation today. No matter how small, it will assist us in our efforts to save American manufacturing, R&D, IT, and other good-paying jobs. If you can spare a few dollars once a year, it could make all the difference.

Thank you, and keep spreading the word about AmericanEconomicAlert.org.
